Living in smaller spaces you neeed to learn how to save room and collect less "stuff" :)
Here are some girlie things I found recently in Woman's World magazine (March 2nd issue) that will do "double duty" -
1) Lip balm can be used to soften your cuticles - let the oils really sink in and then wipe your nails clean before you polish.
2) Tame frizz with lip gloss - warm up a dab between your palms and glider over the problem area then brush with a boar-bristle brush til you hair looks controlled
3) wipe off eye make up with baby oil and cotton pad
4) get a shimmery glow with eye shadow - don't want to spend $20 - $60 for a highlighter? in your make up case find a pale, pearly eye shadow - use it where you'd normally put highlighter - same effect - less cost!
