A beautiful day on Skagit Bay in LaConner WA
It started out as a beautiful day on Friday and stayed with us through the entire weekend..cool in the AM and warmed mid-day into the hi 60s. The evenings have been so cool we're using 2 blankets - yum yum.
Sat and Sun we went to the The Waterfront Day in Anacortes. Sailboats, power boats, crafts and more.
The little ones had a great time making their own wooden sailboats and sailing them in a shallow pool provided by the Kiwanis Club - what a wonderful idea!
I bought a neat little quilted bag for baking potatoes in the microwave - tried it last night and it works like a charm! I've never liked using the plastic bags for cooking and now I've got something much safer and it cooks the potatoes better too-you don't even poke holes in the taters. She'll have a website soon so I'll keep you posted! (they look easy to make too)
Hope you enjoy the pictures - this is where we are parked - directly on the water - Skagit Bay... the other pictures were from the festival.
