And when you least expect it - a bad tire

We are driving through beautiful OR and WA countryside - sometimes at 60+ mph - in sunshine and rain - over mountains and down mountains...and all of a sudden you get a little "nudge" (I call it a God wink)...

we stop at a gas station and I walk around the rig just looking at tires and the hitches etc (like I always do)..and lo and behold - a bald tire on the rig!!

Yikes...thank goodness for GPSs - we program in tire company locations and the very NEXT exit is it(and I mean within two seconds of programming it) - Les Schwab Tires in North Bend WA.

So...here we sit in their waiting room as they replace all four tires .. a grand total of $540.

Which brings me back to the so called "reputable" RV dealer where we purchased our rig - LaMesa RVA in Sanford FL. I can't believe they let us out on the road with that tire! - not to mention that the heater element is now out which they claimed to have replaced! (know a good attorney??)

Such is life..we still hope to arrive at our planned destination in LaConnor Thousand Trails this afternoon and will stay for a few days while visiting friends made during our last visit 5 years ago.
