Back to Homer

Nothing like being flexible :)

We got a call from our friends Les and Dorothy in Fairbanks just as we were leaving Homer that they are on their way back to Homer for 2 weeks and want us to come down! We immediately called Princess RV and canceled our stay for August in Coopers Landing.

After a $160 stop at Safeway for "provisions" (that was 4 bags full I might add) we'll be heading back to Homer tomorrow for more halibut fishing, Alaska King crabs and salmon - such a life!!!

I heard a song today that reminds me of our lifestyle "Life is a Highway"...every time I hear it I think of my adorable grandson Connor - he would sing that while playing his guitar when we came to visit...but he was 5 at the time :)
